A new shelf in the workshop

History, drawn with memory.

Benoni Online graphic novels bring primary sources, historical reconstruction, and adult moral drama into one visual form. The images carry the world; the text stays clear of the art.

At sunset, Gedaliah stands above a deep stone cistern while another man's long shadow reaches across the courtyard; a Judean hill town rises beyond.

The collection

One finished book. A format built to grow.

The catalog begins with a complete historical tragedy drawn from the final chapters of Judah before exile. New work will appear here only when it is real and ready to be read.

Gedaliah, wearing a wrapped head covering, stands beside a deep cistern at sunset as Ishmael's shadow crosses the stone.

The Seventh Month

The Fall of Gedaliah ben Achikam

Jerusalem has burned. The Temple is gone, the king is captive, and Babylon rules what remains. Gedaliah accepts an impossible task: keep the Jewish remnant alive in its land through an exile that prophecy says cannot yet be ended. For one harvest, he succeeds. Then a surviving prince comes to his New Year table promising restoration.

The editorial promise

Let the material choose the form.

Each book begins with its sources and historical problem, then develops a visual language specific to that world. The collection does not force every subject into one house style. It does keep one standard: distinguish evidence from interpretation, make the story legible to a first-time reader, and never use spectacle to escape moral consequence.
